Chapter 14
14And—I—saw,—and,—behold,—the—Lamb—stood—on—the—mountain—Zion—and—with—him—a—hundred—forty—and—four—thousand,—having—his—name—and—the—name—of—the—Father—written—upon—their—foreheads.—
2And—I—heard—a—voice—from—heaven,—as—the—voice—of—many—waters—and—as—the—voice—of—a—great—thunder,—and—the—voice—I—heard—was—[as]—harpers—harping—with—their—harps.—
3And—they—sangⁿ—[as—it—were]—a—new—song—before—the—throne,—and—before—the—four—creatures,—and—the—elders,—and—none—could—learn—the—song—but—the—hundred—and—forty—and—four—thousand,—who—were—bought—from—the—earth.—
4These—are—those—who—were—not—defiled—with—women,—for—they—are—virgins.—These—are—they—who—follow—the—Lamb—wherever—he—goes.—These—were—bought—from—among—the—men,—being—the—firstfruits—unto—God—and—to—the—Lamb.—
5And—in—their—mouth—was—found—no—lie,—for—they—are—without—fault.—
6And—I—saw—another—messenger—fly—in—midheaven,—having—an—everlasting—gospel—to—announce—unto—those—who—sit—on—the—earth,—and—to—every—nation,—and—tribe,—and—tongue,—and—people,—
7saying—with—a—great—voice,—“Fear—God—and—give—glory—to—him,—for—the—hour—of—his—judgment—has—come,—and—worship—him—who—made—heaven,—and—the—earth,—and—sea,—and—fountains—of—waters.”—
8And—another—messenger,—a—second—followed,—saying,—“Is—fallen,—is—fallen—Babylon—the—great,—she—who—made—all—the—nations—drink—of—the—wine—of—the—fury—of—her—fornication.”—
9And—another—messenger,—a—third,—followed—them,—saying—with—a—great—voice,—“If—any—man—worship—the—beast—and—his—image—and—receive—his—mark—upon—his—forehead,—or—upon—his—hand,—
10and—the—same—shall—drink—of—the—wine—of—the—fury—of—God,—which—is—poured—out—without—mixture—into—the—cup—of—his—wrath,—and—he—shall—be—tormented—with—fire—and—brimstone—in—the—presence—of—the—holy—messengers—and—in—the—presence—of—the—Lamb.—
11And—the—smoke—of—their—torment—ascends—forever—and—ever,—and—they—have—no—rest—day—nor—night,—who—worship—the—beast—and—his—image,—and—whosoever—receives—the—mark—of—his—name.”—
12Here—is—the—patience—of—the—saintsⁱ,—they—who—keep—the—commandments—of—God—and—the—faith—of—Jesus.—
13And—I—heard—a—voice—from—heaven—saying,—“Write,—Blessed—are—the—dead—who—die—in—the—Lord—from—henceforth.”—“Yes,”—says—the—Spirit,—“that—they—may—rest—from—their—labors,—for—their—works—do—follow—with—them.”—
14And—I—saw,—and—behold—a—white—cloud,—and—upon—the—cloud—one—sat—like—a—Son—of—man,—having—on—his—head—a—golden—crown,—and—in—his—hand—a—sharp—sickle.—
15And—another—messenger—came—out—of—the—temple,—crying—with—a—great—voice—to—him—who—sat—on—the—cloud,—“Send—thy—sickle—and—reap,—for—the—hour—has—come—to—reap,—for—the—harvest—of—the—earth—is—dried.”—
16And—he—who—sat—on—the—cloud—cast—in—his—sickle—on—the—earth,—and—the—earth—was—reaped.—
17And—another—messenger—came—out—of—the—temple—which—is—in—heaven,—he—also—having—a—sharp—sickle.—
18And—another—messenger—came—out—from—the—altar,—who—has—power—over—the—fire,—and—sounded—with—a—great—voice—to—him—who—had—the—sharp—sickle,—saying,—“Send—thy—sharp—sickle—and—gatherᵗ—the—clusters—of—the—vine—of—the—earth,—for—her—grapes—are—fully—ripe.”—
19And—the—messenger—cast—in—his—sickle—into—the—earth,—and—gatheredᵗ—the—vine—of—the—earth,—and—cast—it—into—the—great—winepress—of—the—fury—of—God.—
20And—the—winepress—was—trodden—outside—the—city,—and—blood—came—out—of—the—winepress,—even—unto—the—bridles—of—the—horses,—by—the—space—of—a—thousand—and—six—hundred—furlongs.—
